About Craig Orofino
Craig Orofino graduated with a Bachelor of Science and a Master's in Physician Assistant Studies from Long Island University Brooklyn in 2004. Upon graduation, Craig gained tremendous knowledge and experience in Rheumatology. He began his career as a Physician Assistant at the Arthritis Institute of Long Island, where he worked from 2004 to 2009. He then continued his practice with East Coast Rheumatology from 2009 to 2011. Most recently, Craig worked at Long Island Regional Arthritis and Osteoporosis Care from 2011 to 2021.
Craig joined Island Rheumatology and Osteoporosis, PC, in the fall of 2021 and has been a wonderful addition to our practice. His background, knowledge, and excellent patient care skills have been tremendous for patients in our community suffering from joint and muscle pain. He has a wonderful bedside manner and is proficient in diagnosing and managing autoimmune diseases.
Craig also has great expertise in performing ultrasound-guided injections and procedures. We are fortunate to have Craig Orofino, with his 18 years of Rheumatology experience, as part of our practice.
