About Dr. Craig Thornally
It’s hard to believe I’ve been in practice for over 30 years. Time passes quickly, especially if you love what you do. I still get excited about using traditional and new chiropractic techniques to reduce pain and help the Colorado Springs community live healthier lives.
Dr. Thornally began his pre-chiropractic education at University of Georgia where he studied the basic sciences such as organic and inorganic chemistry, biology, along with physiology and anatomy courses. After completing his study there, he was accepted at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. During his four years at at Palmer, courses included biochemistry, a major emphasis on anatomy,human physiology, x-ray, diagnosis, chiropractic adjusting techniques, and patient care in the Palmer College Public Clinic.
After graduating in 1984 Dr. Thornally moved to Seattle, Washington to study under Dr. Burl Pettibon the founder of spinal biomechanics. In 1987 he moved to Colorado Springs and established his private practice.
Prior to starting a family Dr. Thornally coached lacrosse at Air Academy High School. They won 3 state championships during his nine years as head coach. He now has two boys who love playing hockey, basketball, tennis and lacrosse. Dr. Thornally has been coaching youth and high school lacrosse for the past 20 years.
Dr. Thornally’s children have been under chiropractic care since birth and have benefited from reduced sickness and good mental and physical development. Dr. Thornally has a passion for helping people improve their health so they can enjoy life to its fullest.

Dr. Thornally is very professional, kind, and thorough. He explains things in a way that you can understand and he genuinely seems interested in helping you feel better. He also takes X-rays on your consultation visit and explains them the next time you come in. I would definitely recommend him.

Dr. Thornally did a complete exam including X-rays. My neck was bothering me after getting back from a road trip. He adjusted my neck on this visit and I am able to turn my neck more than I’ve been able to in the last few years. I am going back on Monday for a full adjustment. I highly recommend him.
