Throughout her many years of clinical experience, Dr. Hopkins has worked in diverse settings, including mental health/psychiatry, emergency medicine, internal medicine, family practice, women's health, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Her professional interests focus on treating mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and psychotic disorders in adults. She has extensive experience managing substance use disorders and post-traumatic stress disorder. Dr. Hopkins enjoys collaborating with clients, their families, and other mental health providers to improve mental health and outcomes. She frequently employs cognitive behavioral therapy and supportive therapy techniques when evaluating and treating mental health concerns. Outside of work, Dr. Hopkins enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and traveling. She has a passion for helping others and actively participates in community and civic activities, volunteering to support the less fortunate and serve those in need.
