Dr. Curtis Phillips, MD is a dual board-certified psychiatrist and addiction psychiatrist with over a decade of clinical experience across outpatient, inpatient, emergency, and telepsychiatry settings. He is the founder and CEO of C Psychiatric Solutions, a multi-location practice serving patients in Florida, California, Washington State, and internationally via telehealth.
Dr. Phillips completed his Addiction Psychiatry Fellowship at Mount Sinai Beth Israel and his residency at SUNY Upstate Medical University. He holds advanced training in Dynamic Deconstructive Psychotherapy (DDP) — an evidence-based treatment for borderline personality disorder listed in the SAMHSA National Registry of Evidence-Based Programs — as well as CBT, DBT, and EMDR.
His clinical expertise spans general psychiatry, addiction medicine and medication-assisted treatment (MAT), borderline personality disorder, dual diagnosis, eating disorder medication management, and metabolic/weight management psychiatry including GLP-1 optimization.
Dr. Phillips takes a personalized, integrative approach — combining psychiatric medication management, evidence-based psychotherapy, and when appropriate, genetic testing — to develop treatment plans tailored to each patient's biology, history, and goals. He has particular experience serving patients who have felt dismissed or failed by fragmented care.
Florida patients: Most major insurance plans accepted for medication management and addiction psychiatry. California and Washington patients: Cash-pay with superbill provided for out-of-network reimbursement.

My role isn't to hand you a diagnosis and a prescription and send you on your way. It's to actually understand you — your history, your patterns, what's worked, what hasn't, and what matters most to you — and build a treatment plan around that.

You'll be heard. The first appointment is about getting the full picture. I ask a lot of questions because context matters enormously in psychiatry. No detail is too small or too embarrassing to share.
We'll move at a pace that works for you. Whether you're coming in for medication management, psychotherapy, addiction treatment, or a combination — we'll discuss every option, explain the reasoning, and make decisions together. Nothing happens without your understanding and buy-in.
Your treatment will evolve. Mental health isn't static, and your care shouldn't be either. We'll check in regularly, adjust as needed, and always keep your goals at the center.
You're not just a symptom list. I take a whole-person approach — looking at biology, lifestyle, relationships, and history — because real recovery and real stability require more than a one-size-fits-all solution.
There is no judgment here. Whether you're navigating addiction, a personality disorder, depression, anxiety, weight struggles, or something you've never quite been able to name — you'll be met with respect and clinical precision, not assumptions.

Getting started is straightforward, and you won't be navigating it alone. From your very first interaction with us, our team is here to make the experience as smooth and purposeful as possible.
Before Your First Visit
Once you book your appointment, a member of our team will reach out to welcome you and begin preparing for your care. We'll send you a set of pre-appointment questions designed to help us understand your background, your concerns, and what you're hoping to achieve — so that when we sit down together, we can hit the ground running rather than starting from scratch.
Your Evaluation
During your initial visit, we use validated, evidence-based screening tools to conduct a thorough psychiatric evaluation. These aren't generic checklists — they're clinical instruments that help us build an accurate picture of where you are today and establish a baseline we can measure against over time.
Ongoing Care
Progress in psychiatry should be visible, not just felt. We use the same evidence-based tools at follow-up visits to track how you're responding to treatment — what's improving, what needs adjustment, and where we go next. Your care evolves based on data and your own experience, not guesswork.

The initial appointment fee is $400.
Follow up appointments are $400 per hour and $200 for 20-30 minute follow up.
