She didn't want me coming into the office because I'm a stage IV cancer patient currently undergoing chemo treatments with the entire COVID pandemic still going on -- and I can sincerely appreciate that. I had heard so many wonderful things about her prior to my appointment and she far exceeded each of those comments. I look forward to her being my primary care doctor.”

I was nervous starting over with a new doctor after being with the same doctor for 27 years. The office staff was very welcoming. The doctor was completely thorough and really took time to talk to me. I feel that I could stay with this doctor for 27 years. Thank you for a pleasant visit

3 weeks after suffering a very traumatic loss and in the midst of dealing with the aftermath, I went to see Dr. LaCapra for anxiety and depression issues since I'm new to the area and don't have a PCP. After sitting there spilling my guts out with everything going on, she basically rushed me out of her office with a referral to 2 psychiatrists who are not accepting new patients. She now is refusing to help or treat me. Did not discuss medication options or treatment plans whatsoever. And to be honest, it's hard to even trust a doctor who doesn't look healthy or like she takes care of her own self. I wouldn't trust this doctor with anything more than a cold.

I just switched to Dr. LaCapra's office from another provider in the area and was very pleased with my first experience! I thought everyone who worked there was extremely pleasant and kind (with the exception of this one girl who was a bit rude, she seemed to be a manager or just more seniority and when I asked why I was being charged a copay for a physical she was very snotty! She's like you're here to establish care right? Like no lady I did not schedule an appointment just to meet you people and then schedule another appointment for a physical, that makes no sense and seems like a money grab, anyway she really made me mad when she gave me an attitude and I almost said something to her about watching her tone, but decided not to bother) But I loved the doctor and everyone else and so far I am very happy I switched here.
