About Cynthia Santos Jansen
Cynthia Santos Jansen, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant who joined Pinnacle Dermatology, a Pinnacle Dermatology Practice, in 2012. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry at the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota. Cynthia also holds a Bachelor's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Des Moines University. She served in the United States Army Reserve as a First Lieutenant PA-C for six years. Cynthia discovered a passion for dermatology during her twelve years as a primary care provider. This experience, along with training with Dr. Patrick Carney, has provided her with expertise in minor surgical procedures including excisions, biopsies, and cryotherapy. She is qualified to perform comprehensive dermatologic exams and to diagnose, treat, and prescribe appropriate medical therapy. Cynthia also sees patients for cosmetic treatments including Botox, dermal fillers, Sculptra, Kybella, and cosmetic mole removals. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, licensed by the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice, and is a proud member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. She brings almost twenty years of experience in patient care.
