Bedside manner - unbelievably sweet! She knew that I was waiting a long time before she was able to get to me and before leaving she apologizes and asked if she could get me anything, or do anything such as refreshments, etc. I immediately said “No, thank you” with a huge smile, but one thing I really truly hope is that she gets to read this, because I didn’t get to tell her after that sweet gesture, “You already did! I was able to see you and that’s all I needed” ??

About Cynthia Trickett
Cynthia Trickett has been a Physician Assistant since 1995, when she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, TX. She practiced Family Medicine for approximately three years in Houston, Texas, before transitioning to Dermatology in 1998, where she has practiced ever since. In 2000, Cynthia completed her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies with a concentration in Dermatology from the University of Nebraska. She specializes in the treatment of psoriasis and complex autoimmune cases. Cynthia is an adjunct faculty member for the Physician Assistant Departments at both the University of Texas Southwestern and the University of North Texas. She regularly mentors and lectures to PA students and has guest lectured for the National Psoriasis Foundation, as well as to dermatology practitioners across the United States on psoriatic disease. In 2018, she was honored with the prestigious America’s Top PA award by her peers.

Clean office and everything was organized. Cynthia was in and out in less than 5 minutes and the appointment felt rushed. Granted, I didn’t have a ton of questions but the pace seemed to be moving at 100mph. I get they’re probably busy but overall, I seemed more like a number than a patient they’d want to keep long term.
