Getting to know Dr. Dagmar Ngiowa
Dr. Dagmar N'giowa DNP, NP-C, PMHNP-BC is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and Psychiatry Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She attended Washington Adventist University, Takoma Park, Maryland where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. She then pursued her interest in nursing and due to her outstanding academic standings, she was invited and inducted into one of the nation's largest leadership honor societies, The National Society of Leadership and Success. She then graduated from Bowie State University with a Master of Science in Nursing Degree with a focus as a (FNP).
She has worked primarily in the emergency department, urgent care, and family practice settings. She works as a Hospitalist and as a house call provider. She was an adjunct clinical professor at her alma mater Washington Adventist University and still precepts undergrad and graduate nursing students. While working full-time as a hospitalist, she enrolled at Chatham University in Pittsburg Pennsylvania to complete her Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2019. Upon graduating from Chatham University, she enrolled at Brandman University in Irvine California to pursue and complete her psychiatric mental health practitioner program.
Dr. Dagmar is an active member of professional organizations including the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the National Society of Leadership and Success.
COVID-19 rapid PCR 45 minutes test is available at our facility. There is a fee for this test or can also be submitted to patient's medical insurance. Travel related COVID-19 test are cash pay only.
