“I have been seeing Dr. Dale Prokupek for almost 10 years. He is an incredible listener and incredible doctor. There were some things that I couldn’t really figure out for myself healthwise, and he really sat down and helped me sort things out. He told me that I was doing the right thing , i’m not annoying or paranoid and that he was here to help me.
I think it’s rare to find doctors that truly love and care for their patients. Every time I have a friend telling me horror stories about a Doctor Who didn’t listen to them I always scream.” please go see my doctor. He care cares about people.” Lol - and he would probably kill me for referring so many patients to him, but I just value him and his practice and his team so much and I’m so grateful for My health and he has a huge part in that so I could not highly recommend a physician more!

With more than 20 years in practice, Dr. Dale Prokupek provides compassionate and skilled gastroenterological care to members of the Beverly Hills and greater Los Angeles area. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the Medical College of Wisconsin, completed a residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, and pursued a fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of California, Los Angeles. Dr. Prokupek offers a wide range of procedures specializing in gastrointestinal issues such as stomach pain, colon cancer, colonoscopies, and pancreas problems, to name a few.
A caring, compassionate, and friendly physician, Dr. Prokupek understands how debilitating gastrointestinal problems can be to one's daily life. Therefore, he is committed to quickly treating and managing these ailments.
When he is not working, Dr. Prokupek enjoys mixed martial arts, yoga, and helicopter skiing.

Dr. Prokupek has been my primary physician for many years. He is one of my favorite doctors because he always listens keenly, asks questions, and remains deeply involved and interested in my health. He is always thorough and detail-oriented and never takes information I have as a patient for granted. I am grateful for many years of excellent patient care from Dr. Prokupek and his exceptional staff. I also want to mention something that I think doctors don't always understand about patient care: What we casually and commonly refer to as a good "bedside manner" is something that is actually quite relevant to appropriate patient care. Isn't it better science to deeply consider and evaluate the subject? Then shouldn't our doctors do the same with their patients, since WE ARE the subject???!!! Doctors that fail to do so are absolutely and utterly failing to practice good medicine. Dr. Prokupek is one of the good ones!

Dr. Prokupek was very thorough and eager to address my issues. However, after my visit, I felt as if Dr. Prokupek's course of action was too aggressive based on my current symptoms and resulted in me getting a second opinion that validated such feelings. I would not go back to Dr. Prokupek unless the issues were more severe and I wanted to address them in a very timely manner.

Overall, the appointment ran smoothly. There were no issues with my insurance or anything. Would have appreciated more communication regarding the wait time. After being seen by the nurse, I was told that Dr. Prokupek would see me shortly and then I was placed in his room, and then sat for about 30-45 minutes. After being evaluated, I only learned of the office’s busyness by the phlebotomist. I have no problem waiting, but the lack of communication was somewhat annoying.

I’ve been seeing Dr Prokupek for 20 years — wow that makes me feel old — which is a testament to how much confidence and trust I have in him. There are not many people in this world I’d entrust my life to but Dr. Prokupek is certainly one of them.
It’s not easy to find an exceptionally qualified and brilliant doctor who’s also a nice person. What I love about Dr. Dale is that he takes the time to get to know you as a valued individual rather than just a “patient.” He listens intently to what you say and is genuinely interested in your opinions and thoughts. I feel like we are partners in optimizing my overall health. He has an amazing ability to translate very complicated and confusing medical concepts into everyday language that’s easily understandable. He would be a fantastic professor.
I was 29 when I first saw Dr Prokupek and I’m now almost 50. I have had several minor and serious health issues over these many years and Dr Prokupek has been my trusted physician throughout.

Circled twice to find parking spot.
Went in to the building, checked in, filled out forms, paid, sat for 5 min, Stash called me, introduced himself, took me to exam room, took my vitals and asked why Im there :) he’s friendly, easy to talk to, when he was done, I was told that Dr. Prokupek is ready for me so I walked to a different room, next door. Dr. Prokupek is already in the room, had a nice conversation, he is attentive and really listened to me and suggested other things that needs to be done. Nice first impression, awesome staff, I’d go back again.

I had my first visit with Dr. Prokupek today. I did not have high hopes for this appointment as most gastroenterologists have kinda shrugged me off. Instead, he took interest in why my case was a little unusual and not only had a number of possible plans of treatment, he even started looking for answers in places that other doctors have not. I truly could not recommend him more. If you are feeling like doctors aren't listening to you or you feel like you are just getting shuffled around with no real help, please do yourself a favor and visit this office.
