Dr. Dallin Bawden, DNP, PMHNP-BC, APRN

Adult Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
721 12200 S, Draper, UT
Hi! I'm an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) and a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with 7+ years of experience working in inpatient and outpatient mental health settings. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Utah in 2018 and went on to complete my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Psychiatric Mental Health at the University of Utah in 2024. Outside of clinical work, I enjoy playing guitar, attending concerts, staying active, and sharing my signature sense of humor—complete with the occasional (and often appreciated) dad joke.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I have extensive experience treating a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, OCD, and schizophrenia. I proudly provide LGBTQIA+ affirming care and offer biological, advanced treatment options such as ketamine infusion therapy along with private ketamine-assisted sessions. My compassionate and down-to-earth approach helps patients feel comfortable, supported, and empowered throughout their healing journey.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I truly believe in a holistic, patient-centered approach to care while recognizing effective treatment often combines medication, therapy, and lifestyle adjustments. My goal is to work collaboratively with each patient to create a customized treatment plan that aligns with their individualized goals, values, and needs.

After scheduling your appointment, you will receive an email from Stella Mental Health (formerly Numinus) containing your intake paperwork. Please allow about 30 minutes to complete this form. Your responses will help your provider prepare for your upcoming appointment. All patients are required to complete the intake form 24 business hours before their appointment. You will receive a phone call from one of our dedicated Care Advocates, who can answer any questions you may have. Please be prepared to provide a credit card to keep on file for co-pays or cancellation fees. Late cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full intake appointment fee ($292). During your intake appointment, you’ll spend 60 minutes with your provider collaborating on a treatment plan tailored to your needs. If in-person treatments are recommended—such as TMS, Spravato, DSR SGB, or ketamine therapy—our care team will guide you through the process and ensure you feel supported every step of the way.
