Getting to know Dana Denaris

***If STIMULANTS & live in NJ*** please see disclaimer below. You’ve been carrying so much while balancing work, family, relationships, & the constant weight of expectations. From the outside, it may look like you “have it all together,” but inside you feel exhausted, anxious, or stuck in cycles you can’t seem to break. You long for more peace, clarity, & meaning, but instead find yourself questioning if you’re doing enough or if you’ll ever feel truly present. In my practice, I provide medication management to support your healing, but my work goes far beyond prescriptions. I take a whole-person approach. I hold space for people who are ready to breathe again, to slow down, & to reconnect with themselves on a deeper level. My approach is warm, compassionate, & rooted in the belief that healing involves both mind & body. Together, we’ll explore not only your challenges, but also your inner strengths, creating space for balance & calm. Clients who work with me often say they feel understood, less alone, and more grounded. Whether it’s navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, or the heaviness of “doing it all,” you don’t have to keep carrying this alone. I’ll walk beside you helping you move toward the clarity, balance, and peace you’ve been craving.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Sessions are unhurried and conversational. I aim to create a calm, non-judgmental space where you feel heard and supported, not rushed or reduced to a diagnosis. We’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable, with an emphasis on clarity, shared decision-making, and practical next steps. Whether you’re exploring medication for the first time or looking for a more thoughtful, holistic approach to care, my goal is to help you feel more balanced, informed, and empowered in your mental health journey. Working with me is collaborative, thoughtful, and individualized. I take time to understand the full picture. We can create a treatment plan that truly fits you. My approach is evidence-based and integrative, combining medication management when appropriate with education, lifestyle considerations, and mind-body strategies.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

**After booking, expect a call for a free 15 min consultation. This is for you to gauge if my approach is a good fit.** **Important for New Jersey patients seeking stimulant treatment: Due to New Jersey state regulations, patients prescribed stimulant medications are required to attend an in-person visit at least once every three months. These visits are scheduled at my SoHo office in Manhattan. Please note that there is a $75 facility fee for in-person visits to cover the cost of the clinical space. This fee is separate from insurance and is due at the time of the visit.
