Dana Dose, RDN

Dana Dose, RDN

Dietitian
MI
Dana is best known for her approachable personality, expertise in family nutrition, and individualized care. She helps patients and families by providing practical recommendations to achieve the health outcomes that are most important to each individual/family with whom she works. Her list of specialties is extensive because she has many years of experience. The ages, stages and conditions she has proven success with include (in order of age category): infant nutrition (breastfeeding and bottle feeding), starting solids, toddler nutrition, picky eating, child and adolescent nutrition, pregnancy and postnatal nutrition, gestational diabetes, prediabetes (diabetes prevention), type 2 diabetes, anti-inflammatory diets, weight management, heart health concerns, intuitive eating, disordered eating, and nutrient deficiencies for all ages. Dana's interest in nutrition started out personal and grew from there. In high school, Dana worked with a Registered Dietitian for weight loss. The strict diet approach that was used at the time helped her lose weight temporarily but was not sustainable. It inspired her to become a dietitian so she can support children and adults with their own personal journeys to health. Throughout her career, she has continued to learn and gain skills to broaden her scope in order to maximize the types of patients she can support. Dana has 2 children of her own, and understands that all parents and families operate differently. She meets families where they are and works to utilize the resources (including time!) that they have, to do their nutritional best. She and her family, including a dog rescued in early 2024, enjoy outdoor activities such as skiing, hiking, and swimming. She teaches Jazzercise on the side and loves to read. She looks forward to getting to know and support you and your family! No license required; provider is a Registered Dietitian certified by the CDR.
