Initially felt positive towards Dr. Howell but after a few sessions I felt more like a problem than a patient. I've been in treatment for over 8 years for bipolar and this was not my worst experience by any means, Dr. Howell is clearly very knowledgable, I think we just aren't a good fit.

I was thoroughly dissatisfied with ZocDoc. I never got to see Dana Howell. One time the appointment was cancelled and this time it never happened. I will now look for another doctor to deal with.

This provider wasn’t particularly friendly. You would think that for a first-time appointment that she could have at least greeted me with a smile. I was looking for a provider to help me find a prescription to treat a fairly recent diagnosis, and even offered to give her the paperwork/report from the diagnosing clinicians, but she said that she wouldn’t even considering treating me unless she did a new evaluation herself. My first evaluation was very time-consuming and I had no desire to go through that again. Also, I wasn’t sure if my insurance would even pay for another one being that my first one was so recent. She also implied that the reason why she wanted to do her own evaluation was because she believed that my documentation (which she didn’t even see) might have falsified by a co-worker who gave me all of my diagnoses to “help me out.” Being in healthcare myself, I was pretty offended. In my personal experience, this appointment was a huge waste of time.
