*After booking, you will receive a link via IntakeQ so you can complete required intake forms prior to your appointment* My specialty is working with patients who are suffering from anxiety and depressive disorders. Anxiety and depression are two of the most common mental health conditions, often occurring together and significantly impacting daily functioning, relationships, work, and overall quality of life. Anxiety involves persistent worry or fear that can feel uncontrollable, while depression brings ongoing sadness, hopelessness, and a loss of motivation or pleasure. Both conditions can also manifest physically, such as through fatigue, changes in appetite or sleep, muscle tension, rapid heartbeat, or other bodily discomforts, which can further intensify emotional distress. I also support adults navigating mood disorders, OCD, psychotic disorders, life transitions, stress, sleep disorders, ADHD, family and relationship conflict, work-life balance and burnout. I’ve worked with individuals from a variety of cultural backgrounds, which has helped me develop strong cultural competency. I also have experience working with members of the LGBTQ+ community and understand the importance of creating safe, affirming spaces where individuals feel supported, respected, and free to express their identities without judgment. With college students, I’ve provided support as they navigate academic pressure, identity development, and the transition into adulthood. I’ve supported working adults balancing demanding careers, family responsibilities, and personal challenges, offering practical and compassionate guidance tailored to their busy lives.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My hope is that you feel as safe, supported, and comfortable as possible during our sessions. I want you to feel free to open up, knowing you're in a nonjudgmental space where your thoughts and experiences are valued. Together, we'll work to identify your strengths and collaboratively create and achieve meaningful, personalized goals. I also hope that you feel satisfied with the care you receive and empowered to ask questions, share concerns, and offer feedback so we can continually enhance your treatment experience and ensure it truly meets your needs.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Therapy provides a supportive space to better understand the root causes of anxiety and depression and to learn effective ways to manage them. Evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness techniques help you to recognize and reframe negative thought patterns, develop healthy coping skills, and improve emotional regulation. Through therapy, you learn strategies to reduce stress, manage emotions, and address the physical symptoms that often accompany these conditions. It also helps build self-awareness, increase self-esteem, and reestablish connections with meaningful activities/hobbies and relationships.
