About Danae Kissner
Danae became interested in pursuing a career in healthcare since childhood. Her parents often found her with her nose in a book, learning about the human body and what happens when something goes wrong. The human body and all its working parts have always fascinated her.
As a pre-teen, she started volunteering at local hospitals, day camps for special needs kids, and free medical clinics. The moment medicine and service melded into one working piece, Danae knew her purpose on this earth was to be of service to others. She has spent the rest of her life living this mission, learning, and gaining experiences along this path.
Danae earned her Bachelor's degree from Montana State University and went on to complete her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies at Lincoln Memorial University.
One of the places where Danae has felt happiest is outdoors. She enjoys hiking, camping, and sharing time outside with friends and her dog, a Whippet named Zed. She is an avid artist and loves to paint and sculpt in her spare time. Danae’s love of cooking calls her into the kitchen, where she enjoys trying out new as well as tried-and-true recipes and cuisines.
