I provide outpatient psychiatric care for adults seeking support with concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, PTSD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and other mental health conditions.
My approach is thoughtful, clinically responsible, and patient centered. I take time to understand what you are experiencing, what treatments you have tried before, and what you hope to improve. My goal is to create a treatment plan that is safe, realistic, and tailored to your needs.
At Altheda, psychiatric care is not rushed or transactional. We focus on careful evaluation, clear communication, and steady follow-up so patients feel supported throughout their care.
What should a new client know about working with you?
*** Initial evaluations are 60 minutes, and follow ups are 30 minutes to support careful, safe, and personalized care.***
My new patient evaluations are scheduled for 60 minutes, and follow-up appointments are typically 30 minutes. This gives us time to review your concerns, history, prior medications, and goals before making treatment decisions.
Medication recommendations are made after a full clinical evaluation and are based on safety, appropriateness, and clinical judgment. Specific medications, including controlled substances, are not guaranteed and may require prior records or additional review.
Because appointment times are reserved specifically for each patient, we ask that patients keep their appointments or provide at least 24 hours’ notice when they need to cancel or reschedule. Repeated missed appointments or repeated late cancellations may result in restrictions on future scheduling.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
During our first visit, I will focus on getting to know you and understanding what brought you in. We will talk about your symptoms, mental health history, prior treatment, medications, lifestyle factors, and what you would like to improve.
From there, we will work together on a treatment plan. When medication is appropriate, I will explain the reasoning, options, benefits, and possible risks so you can be involved in the decision-making process.
Follow-up visits are used to monitor progress, discuss concerns, and adjust the plan when needed. My goal is to provide steady, respectful psychiatric care that helps you feel heard, supported, and actively involved in your treatment.

The most terribly organized people I have ever interacted with. They kept calling me and rescheduling my appointment and then not scheduling the new appointment. Wasted my time 3 times for 3 different appointments and had nothing prepared or together. It took a lengthy discussion with them before they even took accountability and apologized and I never even got to meet with the provider. Would not schedule. BIG waste of time.
