I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with expertise in Crisis Stabilization, Addiction Medicine, Women's Health, and General Psychiatry. With six years of experience in psychiatry, I am equipped to treat patients of all ages. I offer various psychotherapy services such as lifestyle modification, manifestation, and mindfulness, and view medications as a tool-not a solution. Currently, I serve as a Medical Officer in the United States Air Force and have extensive knowledge in writing Veteran Affairs disability claim evaluations. I received my Bachelor's degree from the University of Louisville and my Master's in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from Western Kentucky University. I am passionate about empowering folks to take control of their mental health, particularly people suffering from Depression, Anxiety, Sleeping Disorders, ADHD, and PTSD/Trauma, especially in the veteran population. As a consultant, I have managed medications for women who are postpartum, want to become pregnant, are currently pregnant, or have a desire to breastfeed. I believe psychiatric care is an art and should be collaborative, interactive, and customized to the client at hand. Together, we will discuss medication options, choosing the right medication for YOU. Therapy takes place with every appointment, and the treatment plan will be tailored to your needs.
