My baby brother was born with and still lives with medical conditions; therefore, I saw firsthand the impact that providers have on patients, families, and communities. This drives my passion to provide excellent healthcare to all, because everyone deserves compassionate, holistic care. Over the last 15 years in healthcare, I have loved showing my patients how much I care by exceeding expectations, empowering, and educating them. In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs? The role of the primary care provider is to partner with the patient to help them reach their healthcare goals. Holistically, this considers the patient's physical, mental, spiritual, and environmental aspects that impact their health. As a primary care provider, we treat and help prevent a wide range of physical and mental health disorders while also ensuring continuity of care through collaboration with other members of the patient's healthcare team. Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time? I'm a wife and mom of two who loves spending time with family and seeing the world from various perspectives. I welcome families and diverse backgrounds in my practice too! In my free time, I enjoy swimming, dancing, cooking, traveling, and experiencing new things, including different cultures.
