Dr. Achtman attended medical school at the respected McMaster University Toronto, Canada, graduating in 1983. He then went on to serve an internship and residency with Wellesley Hospital. He also studied at the UTSW (University of Texas Southwestern) Medical Center in Dallas, TX, where he served as Chief Resident in the Department of Dermatology. Dedicated to providing the best, cutting-edge treatment for his patients, Dr. Achtman has completed extensive postgraduate education. He has studied with some of the best-known dermatologists in the country, attending programs in Los Angeles, New York, Las Vegas, and Washington D.C. He is an active member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and a widely respected physician. Many in the field consider Dr. Achtman to be a leading expert in the diagnosis and treatment of various skin cancers. Dr. Achtman has extensive training and experience in cosmetic enhancement techniques. His expertise includes muscle relaxation with Botox or Dysport (see the below video), facial and lip reshaping with fillers such as Juvéderm, Restylane and more. He is well-known in the field for creating the most beautiful and natural looking results of non-surgical lip augmentation procedures.
