Patient reviews for Dr. Daniel Alpert
Very professional and kind doctor!!
The consultation was ok but the office never called me when they received my test results back. Had to call the office multiple times and follow up with the lab myself to finally find out that the lab lost some of my sample. Other doctor offices I’ve been to are much more proactive in terms of patient communication and follow up. It just shows how much the practice actually cares about the patients
Caring, kind and thorough. Very fortunate to be referred to Dr Alpert.
I am so happy I went to Dr. Alpert. I was very anxious but left feeling taken care of with a plan of action.
Takes time to explain and answer questions. Seems genuine to avoid unnecessary procedures.
The waits a little long but Dr. Alpert is so caring and thorough which is hard to find. He makes sure to get a full medical history before deciding how to move forward. Would recommend him to anyone.
The visit was conducted in a professional, helpful and relaxing manner. Did not feel rushed or stressed.
Highly recommend. Attentive, very clear and comforting, and helped me solve my gastrointestinal issues within a month.
Very good experience. Professional. Thorough.
Very polite, very professional!
Appreciated my conversation with Dr. Alpert. Very thorough, no nonsense, and I came away feeling like all my questions about my symptoms were answered. Would definitely make a repeat appointment for any future gastro issues.
Incredible office and wonderful doctor! I could not recommend him more!
Dr. Alpert is very knowledgeable, has excellent bedside manners, listens carefully, provides options and professional consult, but doesn’t impose solutions.
Dr Alpert was amazing. He has a great bedside manner and actually made my appointment fun. Would highly recommend him
Excellent in all ways
Great office, great doctor. Front desk, nurse, and doctor all super nice and made me feel comfortable. Dr. Alpert was kind, asked good questions and was informative. Would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone!
Yes, you do have to wait awhile to see this incredible doctor, but it is well worth it as he takes his time with each and every patient and never makes you feel like you are being rushed out the door. He has a calming presence which is exactly what one needs when one is not feeling well (the reason you go to a doctor's office to begin with usually!). I have recommended him to my friends and I feel he is terrific for consults and procedures (endoscopy). Many Thanks, Dr. Alpert!!
Dr Alpert is very patient and professional, highly recommend!
Dr. Alpert is helpful, insightful and accommodating. Couldn't ask for more from a Gastro.
Dr. Alpert was very thorough and great at listening. He took a lot of time to speak about different methods of treatment. I learned a lot in my first appointment with him. I wish I had known the office was cash only for copays!
excellent listener, polite and very good at explaining the condition and potential remedies
A very compassionate doctor. Easy to speak to and gentle!
It was a very positive experience. The doctor is really professional and courteous. He took time to listen to me and to deal with all my concerns. The office staff also are very helpful and courteous. Amazing!
Thorough, kind, chatted first made you comfortable. Forgot to call in antibiotic but think his was human error
The best. Practical, smart and nice.
Best doctor in Manhattan award!
Explained fully what procedure entailed, and answered all questions/concerns.
Dr. Alpert is extremely personable, genuinely cares, and took the time to explain any questions I had. One of the best doctors I’ve ever met in my life.
Dr. Alpert was excellent! He got me in to see a surgeon the same day.
He show that he care initial. After endoscopy and prescription, he was more flippant and less friendly. Told me i needed to see a shrink when i told him i still have issues. There is a reason why he is available within a days schedule. Another doctor resolve part of my issue. Maybe i am the exception since i am the only one with bad experience. His other review here is really good.
Listened carefully. Explained options & recommendations. Amazingly, asked if further testing were ok with me.
I was very happy indeed with this visit and the subsequent follow up actions. Dr Alpert has a very good technique of repeating back to you what he understands your symptoms are so that you can double check his interpretation. I very much liked this approach and felt very reassured by his professionalism.
Very knowledgeable and helpful doctor. Listened to my concerns and came up with multiple solutions. Highly recommend!
I thought Dr. Alpert was very efficient without rushing me out of his office. He sat down to listen to why I came in to the office that day and discussed his game plan for trying to resolve those issues. He seems genuinely concerned for my well being. My only issue is the wait time but I’m noticing that’s the case in every office I go to now. Nurses and front desk were pleasant. Office was clean.
He is wonderful. Highly recommend him.
Waiting for accuracy of treatment, but initial diagnostic appointment was conducted professionally and very thoroughly, a great first impression.
It was a great visit. The receptionist, nurse and Dr. Alpert were very nice and I did not have to wait too long.
The doctor was great! Very informative and knowledgeable.
Dr. Alpert struck me as a compassionate, thorough, and super-knowledgeable doctor who is deeply invested in the care and wellbeing of his patients. I feel completely confident in his judgment and expertise.
Dr. Alpert was personable and friendly. Very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I trust him.
One of the best doctors I've seen! Highly caring and knowledgable!
Super easy and convenient first office visit.
Visiting Dr. Alpert was a great experience. His staff was really kind and efficient. Dr. Alpert was great! He took the time to sit down and listen to my concerns. He clearly explained his thoughts and diagnosis, and suggestions for next steps and things I could do on my own. I really appreciated the time spent, and will be making Dr. Alpert my primary care doctor!
This was my first visit with Dr. Alpert and he was excellent! Very friendly, caring and was clear about the process for which he will go about diagnosis and testing. I look forward to Dr. Alpert's continued care - I'm confident he will be able to help treat my condition.
Dr. Alpert was incredible. Had a bad experience earlier this week with a GI appt and he was the polar opposite. Wish all doctors were like him.
Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Atmosphere was very soothing in office. Doctor was very professional.
Had a good first appointment with Dr Alpert, but on my follow up appointment he was unable to diagnose me and shrugged his shoulders, and made a sexist comment before giving up. He did not take my condition seriously whatsoever.
Extremely pleased with Dr. Alpert. Very knowledgeable and great bedside manner.
Dr Alpert was awesome and really put me at ease. I am traumatized from the prep required before a previous colonoscopy and he told me that i dont have to do the same preparation this time. Much better!
