Daniel Gutierrez, PA-C, is a highly experienced dermatology physician assistant passionate about providing exceptional patient care. With over seven years of experience in the field, he has gained extensive knowledge and expertise in diagnosing and treating various skin conditions.
Daniel began his medical career as an Army Medic in 2006, where he developed a strong work ethic and a dedication to patient care that he carries with him today. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 2011. In 2014, he graduated from Albany Medical College with a Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
Fluent in Spanish, Daniel communicates effectively with a broader range of patients. He is also a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants Diplomate Fellowship, demonstrating his commitment to advancing his knowledge and expertise in the field.

I went in for a skin check/screening. I told Dr. Gutierrez that I hadn't had a screening in over 15 years (my bad!), and I have a *lot* of freckles and sun damage, so I was really worried.
The doctor was very nice, but this was the most perfunctory screening I could imagine. He literally glanced at a few parts of my body and said he saw nothing. I'm sure it he very efficient at finding anomalies, but there is no way he would have caught something hiding among all of these spots, and I think he probably saw 50% of my body. I had fresh scars on my face and scalp from a recent surgery, and he didn't even notice them. The appointment was extremely rushed, and I had no time to ask questions.
I'm sure Dr. Gutierrez is a good clinician, but he obviously has 15 minutes MAX for each of these appointments. I should have put my copay toward paying cash for a more thorough screening, which is what I'm going to have to do now, to feel like I've really had a thorough check. Very annoyed.

Visiting Florida from NC and developed a very irritating rash. Looked for a Dermatologist and found this office that had a PA available to see me same days as I looked. He analyzed my issue rather quickly and prescribed medications to alleviate. Office is forwarding the diagnosis and prescribed medication to my regular Dermatologist. Very highly recommend .

I went to another Dr. 3 days before.. he saw me for about 30 seconds. I was issued 4 prescriptions for a contact dermatitis. Day 3 it was so much
worse.
Then I went to Dan Gutierrez at Water"s Edge in Vero Beach. He had a confidence about him that was pleasant.
Issued 2 scripts. He also took much more time with me, and actually explained what I should do. So happy I went there.
