What should a new client know about working with you?

Working with me, you can expect a collaborative, compassionate, and judgment-free approach to care. I believe that the best treatment plans are built together, taking into account your unique experiences, goals, culture, and values. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and comfortable discussing whatever you're facing.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I believe the best care starts with a conversation. During our first visit, I'll take the time to understand your concerns, your lived experiences, and the many factors that have shaped your mental health—not just your symptoms. My goal is to see you as a whole person so we can develop a treatment plan that aligns with your values and goals. When medication is appropriate, I take a thoughtful and conservative approach to prescribing. I aim to use the lowest effective dose and avoid unnecessary medications whenever possible, carefully weighing the benefits and potential side effects while making decisions together. My practice is centered on psychiatric evaluation and medication management rather than ongoing psychotherapy. While supportive counseling is incorporated into our visits, I also value working collaboratively with therapists and other healthcare professionals when additional therapy would benefit your care.
