Getting to know Daniel Jemison

Daniel Jemison received his Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing in 2010, after receiving Associate degree in Nursing in 2008. He practiced in Jackson, MS at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, primarily in the Medical Intensive Care Unit, before entering graduate school for Masters of Science Degree in Nursing with focus on psychiatric care. In 2017, he received his degree and worked in community mental health as a provider, managing the needs of children, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. He then moved to inpatient care, where he was responsible for evaluation and medical management of several psychiatric units, which catered to adolescent, adult and geriatric populations. Recently moved to the Houston area, Daniel presently works in inpatient behavioral services. He is ANCC board certified as Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner across the lifespan (PMHNP-BC) and looks forward to meeting the needs of clients in a patient-centered, evidence-based practice manner.
