Dr. Jin believes having a strong therapeutic alliance is one of the most fundamental aspects of medicine, even more so in psychiatry. He loves getting to know patients, helping them to open up, and ultimately tackling challenges together as a team. He believes psychiatry is a fascinating yet delicate field. It is constantly evolving and often requires multiple approaches to varying problems, which makes practicing psychiatry not only a medicine, but an art.
Mental health can be some of the most challenging, vulnerable, and debilitating problems patients can face and Dr. Jin is grateful to those who entrust him to overcome these issues.
Outside of work, Dr. Jin loves weightlifting, reading, trying new restaurants, grilling by the pool, and hosting get-togethers with friends. On Saturdays, you can find him watching college football.
