About Dr. Daniel Komlos

My goal is to take a collaborative approach with my patients to assess, diagnose, and treat all of their upper extremity and orthopedic concerns. I strive to provide an experience that is professional, courteous, and friendly while upholding the highest standards of the Houston Methodist system. Daniel Komlos is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in hand, upper extremity, and microsurgery. He was born in Budapest, Hungary, and grew up in New Jersey, where he worked as a paramedic before completing his undergraduate and graduate degrees. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, and finished his fellowship in Miami, FL. He is located in the north Houston area and is committed to serving his community with the highest quality care. He takes an evidence-based approach to patient care, combining the latest surgical techniques with the current understanding of musculoskeletal pathology. Outside of work, his biggest passion is cooking, and he also enjoys travel, fitness, and spending time with his family.
