He has a vast experience of over 35 years in treating acute crises as well as complex and long term conditions, using advanced and effective psychotherapy techniques, including a cognitive and guided imagery approach as well as neurofeedback.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
Dr. Kuhn specializes in treating emotional traumas and PTSD through psychotherapy, advanced neurofeedback as well as his own Kuhn Technique. He also addresses severe adjustment disorders, depression and anxiety, and marital crises, as well as stresses associated with one's career and life situations. In addition, he also specializes in treating neuropsychiatric conditions associated with brain dysfunction like ADD, insomnia, cognitive disorders, traumatic brain injuries and post concussion syndrome, applying both diagnostic tools like neurocognitive battery of tests and brain function battery of tests (EEG, QEEG and Evoked Response tests) which provide a detailed mapping of abnormality in brain function, as well as brain enhancing training with neurofeedback, a form of brainwave self regulation training. Those conditions also include Mild Autism and Asperger Disorder, OCD, learning disorders and Epileptic Seizure disorder.

Dr. Kuhn is a one-of-a-kind psychiatrist who has helped treat both my wife and me for various issues. His Kuhn Method for addressing PTSD is exceptionally effective and when combined with neurofeedback is the ultimate, cutting-edge, drug-free treatment.

Dr. Kuhn was very thorough in reviewing my whole medical history. he made sure to have a comprehensive understanding of my health and family history before advising treatment options. Through his all encompassing approach, Dr. Kuhn was able to able to provide me with a customized treatment plan. It is rare today that I leave a doctors office feeling confident in my understanding of the doctors diagnosis, their recommended treatment plan or why and how it help me. I was so relieved after leaving Dr. kuhn's office as he is extremely knkwledae a d took tbe time to make sure I understood his diagnosis, what the advised treatment would do, how or why I would benefit from it and when I could expect to experience treatment benefits. My experience with Dr. Kuhn was life changing. I was so relieved to hear that there was actually an explanation behind the symptoms I suffer on a daily basis. For the first time in my life, I feel optimistic that Ii will not always have to suffer and that is all thanks to Dr. Kuhn.
