About Dr. Daniel Maurer
Dr. Maurer earned his Bachelor of Arts from Miami University in 1998. Upon completion of his B.A., he earned his Doctorate of Osteopathy from the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2002 and performed his internship and residency at Affinity Medical Center in Massillon, Ohio. Dr. Maurer then pursued and completed his fellowship in shoulder and elbow surgery at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco, California.
Dr. Maurer is a board certified surgeon and is licensed in the state of Texas. He is currently in private practice in Frisco. He is presently a member of several medical organizations, including the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the American Osteopathic Association and the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics. He is also trained in sports injuries, joint arthroplasty, pediatric injuries, and general orthopedics. Dr. Maurer resides in Allen with his wife and their three children.

Dr. .Maurer overall was great. Very professional and very clear on how he explained things. He was personable and I didn't feel like I was being rushed out the door. The location is convenient to home and work (right off 121) and the support staff was friendly. I would recommend him to anyone.

I like Dr Maurer and his staff. Have typically had good experiences during visits. Today was exceptionally slow. Arrived at 9:45 for a 10:00 appointment. Was asked back to the treatment room at 10:15, then sat in the room until the Doctor arrived at 11:15. I was literally minutes from walking out. My time is valuable as well. If my next appointment takes this long, I'll surely find a new doctor.
