About Daniel Medina
Daniel Medina grew up in the Atlanta, GA area and attended Georgia State University, where he earned both his undergraduate degree and MEd in Communicative Disorders. His experience is extensive in the field, working in subacute rehabilitation, acute care, traumatic brain injury, outpatient pediatrics, and video fluoroscopic swallow studies. In the last five years, he has focused solely on pediatric phonological, articulation, language, augmentative and alternative communication, feeding/swallowing, and voice disorders in children ages 1 month to 18 years, 11 months. Knowledge and application of skills are critical in effecting change in clients as well as making connections and building relationships.
Intake forms must be completed prior to booking with Daniel Medina. Initial appointments and any appointments following are $60 each. He is not accepting insurance at this time.

Daniel has gone above and beyond for my daughter. He originally started seeing her in 2019 for childhood apraxia of speech after she got a diagnosis. When she started working with him(2/2019) she had minimal words (4words at the age of 4). By June of 2019 she had progressed so much to say her name for the first time! By December of 2019 she was speaking in short sentences to the best of her ability( putting more than one word together at a time) My daughter is 7 now and has worked with Daniel 3 years. People understand 98% of what she says to them. When we started that was at around 5%. He has helped my daughter come leaps and bounds above where I thought she would be. Daniel is compassionate and caring towards his patients. He truly wants to see them grow and improve. The amount of work he has done to help my daughter is above the bar. My daughter's life was changed because of Daniel. You won't regret having your child work with him!

Daniel Medina, speech teacher for my son, was a wonderful team member to have on Avery’s side! Mr. Medina was full of good energy and engaging. He helped Avery with letter sounds for articulation and confidence building for saying the sentences to communicate more clearly.
He was assigned to Avery the previous year, and Avery was excited to have him back this year. They worked one session one on one, and another session was small group, both were great sessions focused on a topic, choices for the kids to make, all while using the key words and sounds the lessons were based on. We were very sad to have Avery's session end with Mr. Medina! The Wyse Family in Indiana

Mr. Medina is a phenomenal speech therapist. He has a heart for children. He is patient and works very hard to help children succeed. He is definitely gifted at what he does. I have seen tremendous improvement in my son's speech since he started working with with him. Mr. Medina kept my son engaged during each session and my son really looked forward to each week of fun they had. I recommend him for any child they may need speech services.

Mr. Medina worked with my son for over a year. He was always on time, and would text me if I was ever late (or if I forgot!). He was proactive in scheduling, very considerate and flexible. He was always very patient with my son, and my son always enjoyed his time with Mr. Medina. Mr. Medina is always professional, has a positive attitude, and is very helpful with everyone he meets. We would gladly work with him again.

Our experience with Mr. Medina was wonderful! He worked with my son this past summer. Mr. Medina is very knowledgeable, professional and fun! He definitely loves what he does and takes a great interest in helping his students. It was easy to schedule sessions (in-person and virtual). I also appreciated his prompt follow-up and recommendations for my son. Thanks again!
