Hello, I'm Daniel, and I've been a licensed Psychologist for over 40 years, which makes me well seasoned 😊 in the work I love. My journey in this profession began many years ago, and I've had the privilege of practicing in Ohio, Iowa, and now Colorado. After completing my doctoral work, it has been the countless hours spent with thousands of amazing clients that have truly shaped my approach to therapy. Alongside these professional experiences, the 'school of life' and the challenges God has used to help me grow have been invaluable in making me a little more mature than I used to be. For your information, I've been married for over 50 years, have two 'kids,' and four grandkids who bring immense joy to my life. I believe that effective psychotherapy fosters healing of the heart and maturity of the mind in the way that God designed—through life-giving relationships. By combining spiritual insights with brain science, I offer counseling to adults and couples facing common struggles such as depression and anxiety, acute relationship issues, life crises, and personal adjustment problems. A compassionate therapeutic presence is especially crucial for helping survivors of physical, emotional, sexual, and spiritual trauma, including those with dissociative disorders. I understand that such courageous individuals often face very real spiritual battles that can make life especially lonely and difficult. I also have a special place in my heart for pastors and others carrying the personal burdens, challenges, and wounds of full-time ministry.
