About Dr. Daniel Sunwoo

Dr. Sunwoo received his medical education from the Ross University School of Medicine in Roseau, Dominica. He then attended Georgetown University Hospital/National Rehabilitation Hospital in Washington, D.C., where he completed a physical medicine and rehabilitation residency and a pain medicine fellowship.
Board-certified in both physical medicine and rehabilitation and pain medicine, Dr. Sunwoo opts for a conservative approach to pain management and always prioritizes the well-being of each patient. He’s highly skilled in interventional pain procedures for sensitive areas of the neck and lower back and has received training for diagnostic interventional procedures and electrodiagnostics. Dr. Sunwoo also has experience treating painful musculoskeletal conditions affecting the shoulders, hips, and knees.
Outside the office, Dr. Sunwoo maintains interest in the medical field. He’s a current member of the Texas Medical Association, as well as the Dallas County Medical Society.

I requested to see sunwoo but they sent me to some other doctors I’ve never seen before and tried to say I had an appointment with him in the past which dr sunwoo referred me to a neurologist instead back then. They seemed discombobulated. And the new dr I had said i didn’t have any bulging discs in my back which my mri clearly shows bulging.

Large Office but, they do help you immediately after entering, From the Office receptionist to the Lab Tech, professionalism at it's BEST. I walk slow due to my MS so, from going to the restroom or going to have x-rays, this Doctor "NEVER" made me feel rushed. He took his time with me explaining everything, making sure I was equipped for the next step of this medical journey. Excellent Doctor!!!!!!

Seen 20 minutes late after being told repeatedly to arrrive 15 minutes early. The medical assistant failed to send in the prescription. We waited 30 minutes at pharmacy only to find out it was never sent in and had to contact the on call service since this was a Friday and did not want to go all weekend without medication.

Fastest service I've ever had at a doctor's office, particularly given my appointment was in the middle of the day and not first thing in the morning. Not only did my appointment start right on time, moving through the various 'stages' was extremely efficient (e.g., intake questions from the nurse, getting x-rays done, discussing results with the doctor,...).
