Getting to know Danielle Bass

I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Kentucky who has been practicing since 2021. I hold a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree from Walden University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from Galen College of Nursing. I am currently pursuing a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) degree at Capella University. My experience primarily includes assisting patients in acute and subacute inpatient care settings, supported by over 10 years of work as a registered nurse on acute medical and psychiatric units before becoming an APRN. I specialize in providing patient-centered, compassionate, comprehensive, and supportive mental health services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

Danielle takes the time to really listen and help me. She is warm and understanding, and uses life experiences to help me feel not alone. I really appreciate her kindness and patience.
She is a great listener and is very knowledgeable. She also is very determined to help patients get to the bottom of problems and helpful in figuring out what is going on. She has been a great Dr.
It is really refreshing to find a provider who will help you with compassion and empathy! Her virtual “bedside manner” is exceptional! This was my first appointment and she made me feel seen, heard and at ease. She should really be an example for other providers and give a master class on patient care. I am grateful to have found her and be her patient.
Danielle Bass was amazing! I was stressed about losing my therapist, but she made me feel heard and supported. She explained why two of my meds were canceling each other out—something no one had told me before. Danielle was honest, clear, and involved me in every step of my care plan. I left feeling hopeful and informed. Highly recommend!
Great consultation. Straight to the point, but still felt personal. Got clarity on what I’m dealing with and what next steps look like. Solid experience.
She is one of the best providers I have had. She listens and really takes in what you’re saying and works to help find a way for you to feel better. I can’t say enough good things about her !

She listens to what you are saying, works with you to find a solution to your issues and in my opinion goes above and beyond what other doctors do.
Danielle is amazing. She's the first therapist who's actually helped me solve my nearly life-long sleep problem. It's mind blowing how much better I'm doing since I've started attending our sessions. Danielle is a fabulous practitioner and she is not only encouraging but also culturally competent in that she does not alienate me for some of my more "unorthodox" practices (as understood by, for instance, a 60 year old white woman who's only ever worked in a psychiatric practice for children and adolescents) as a young, adventurous, and fun-loving gay man. Many of my past therapists have chalked up my actions to mania or hyper sexuality, which has caused me to feel a good amount of shame. Danielle does not make me feel ashamed; instead, she collaborates with me to come up with practical solutions that I'm actually capable of implementing in my day-to-day life. She also celebrates my eccentricity while providing valuable insights that help me to better control my unhealthy urges. Danielle is a wonderful, authentic human being. Go Danielle! She's the bomb, and I'm thrilled to work with her. Cheers! :)
She probably saved my life and listened to what is actually happening and keeps a good energy towards your mental health journey!
