Hello, I am Danielle Cooper, a board-certified psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner with 17 years of nursing experience, the last 10 of those years in the field of psychiatry. I am dedicated to and strive to create a welcoming, non-judgmental, safe environment for patients seeking mental health care where we work together to design an individualized plan of care that the patient feels comfortable with and that promotes recovery and functional wellbeing. My clinical background is complemented by my education in nursing which started at Our Lady of Lourdes School of Nursing. From there I went on to Thomas Edison State University and obtained my RN-BSN, followed by Wilmington University where I completed my MSN in Nursing Leadership with an Education concentration, and finally a Post-Master’s Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Certificate from Wilkes University. Mental health has always been a passion of mine and I am committed to evidence-based, patient-centered care and supporting individuals in achieving healthy, productive lives.
