About Danielle DaCunha

Hello and welcome to D&D Speech Therapy LLC, a private practice located in Monmouth County, serving pediatric and adult populations in the surrounding areas. D&D Speech Therapy is owned and operated by licensed Speech-Language Pathologist Danielle DaCunha. Danielle has been a licensed SLP for over 5 years and considers herself a generalist in the field, working with a variety of diagnoses and patient populations. She holds a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Seton Hall University and a Bachelor’s degree from Stockton University. Danielle has extensive experience working with children who have Autism Spectrum Disorder, Apraxia of Speech, receptive and expressive language delays, fluency issues, as well as feeding disorders. She also serves adults who struggle with speech, language, swallowing, voice, and cognitive symptoms that may have resulted from Parkinson’s, ALS, MS, TBI, and other diagnoses. At this time, Danielle’s availability is very limited, but she is accepting a few new clients depending on their schedules.

My family visited with Danielle for a one hour parent training session to help with my 16 month old’s speech. Danielle was fantastic with our little one, and she gave us dozens of strategies that we can use at home to help jump start his communication. We are extremely grateful to Danielle for sharing her wisdom with us , and we are already seeing our little one’s speech improve by using the techniques she taught us! I would highly recommend other parents take her parent training session.
Danielle is an amazing speech therapist! My son loves to see her. She takes her time with her clients and is very knowledgeable. She always discusses the session with parents and provides feedback with how to work at home with your child. Highly recommend!
