About Danielle Press

Danielle Press, RD graduated from Lehigh University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Psychology. Wanting to combine her background in psychology with her passion for nutrition, she went on to earn a master’s degree in Applied Physiology and Nutrition from Teachers College, Columbia University. During this time, she completed her dietetic internship through Columbia University’s program, which included clinical rotations at Hoboken University Medical Center, The Renfrew Center in New York City, and New York State Psychiatric Institute. Danielle began her career with Riverfront Nutrition Associates in 2009 and brings extensive experience across a broad range of nutrition-related medical conditions. She has a strong clinical background working with individuals experiencing eating disorders, including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, disordered eating behaviors, and emotional eating patterns. Her experience also includes working with patients seeking weight management support, including individuals pursuing lifestyle-based weight loss as well as those using GLP-1 medications as part of a comprehensive treatment plan. Danielle has extensive experience counseling patients with chronic medical conditions in which nutrition plays a key role in treatment and symptom management. She works with individuals managing diabetes and prediabetes, insulin resistance, cardiovascular disease, hypertension, high cholesterol, gastrointestinal disorders, celiac disease, irritable bowel syndrome, food intolerances, and digestive health concerns. She also provides nutrition therapy for metabolic syndrome, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), obesity, fatty liver disease, and other conditions where nutrition interventions can significantly improve outcomes and quality of life.
