Dr Hoyumpa exceeded all my expectations and referred to a specialist for a big ongoing problem. He sent the paperwork ahead to them and told me to call them Monday. About Dr. Danilo Hoyumpa
Dan Hoyumpa, MD has called San Antonio his home city since 1982, and he is a proud graduate of the nearby Tom C. Clark High School. He attended Baylor University, earned a degree in chemistry and then went to medical school in Dallas at the University of Texas Southwestern. He did an internship in general surgery at Wilford Hall Medical Center on Lackland Air Force Base and later did his family medicine residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.
He served twelve years on active duty with the US Air Force, and had multiple deployments to the Middle East and Africa as a flight surgeon. He has sixteen years experience in primary care and worked another ten years as a full-time emergency medicine physician. He has two fantastic adult children, one attending Texas A&M University in College Station and the other in medical school at UT in Houston.
He is dedicated to providing convenient medical care to you and your family, and if your care requires service outside our clinic, he will be your expert guide and facilitator through the healthcare industry.
