About Dr. Danny M Mounir

Although primary care physicians, OB GYNs, or urologists may have knowledge about urogynecological issues, I offer specialized expertise in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of conditions affecting the muscles and connective tissue of the female pelvic organs. Pelvic floor conditions I commonly treat include urinary incontinence, fecal incontinence, overactive bladder, and pelvic organ prolapse. I pride myself on being committed to excellent care and offering my patients the latest treatments in the field related to these conditions. I earned my Doctor of Medicine from Louisiana State University in Shreveport and completed my undergraduate studies at the Baton Rouge campus. I completed my residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, followed by a fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at Houston Methodist Hospital.
