Dante Rosas, RD

Dante Rosas, RD

Dietitian
MI
Dante grew up as an overweight kid who would commonly indulge in a 20-piece order of chicken nuggets, sodas, or a large bag of chips on a given day. Through his teenage years, he played sports and was able to lose weight, although not in the healthiest of ways. In his senior year of high school, he was introduced to physical activity in the form of lifting weights. He came to understand the importance of physical activity on his overall health and, over time, discovered the value of nutrition as well. Dante went on to join the armed forces, which strengthened his commitment to maintaining an emphasis on both physical activity and nutrition in his life. Upon separation from active duty, he decided to pursue an education in both Exercise Science and Nutrition, earning a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from The University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor's degree from Texas Woman's University. In his role as a Registered Dietitian, he has gained experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Dante's current specialty focus is on patients who are looking to lose weight and/or manage diabetes. His mission is to help educate people and assist them in creating lifelong healthy habits. His hope is to help people live longer and healthier lives. His patient care philosophy is to meet patients where they're at and assist them with creating realistic changes.
