His fellowship specialized in adult hip and knee replacement, and treatment of primary and complex hip and knee problems. While in the US Air Force, Dr. Allred served a six month tour as an orthopedic surgeon for the Special Forces in Afghanistan. Dr. Allred practices adult joint reconstruction, sports medicine, and general orthopedics. He is fellowship trained (an extra year of training) in adult hip and knee reconstruction. He has a special interest in total knee and total hip joint replacements. As part of a multi-specialty orthopedic clinic, he is considered the expert for his group in simple and complex hip and knee conditions and treatment options
