My name is Darnelle, and I am a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with a Master’s in Nursing from United States University and a Post-Master’s Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Wilkes University. I am a provider who listens to and supports every patient. When life brings you troubles, I support you every step of the way. Treatment is a collaborative effort between my patients and me, always respecting patient autonomy and dignity. I work with clients across the lifespan and have a background in behavioral health, cultural competence, LGBTQIA issues, and more. I am conservative with prescribing medication and understand that treatment is more than a pill. What is your typical process for working with clients?

Booking Policies: - You will receive an e-mail from me upon booking with all new patient forms. Please reply to the e-mail with the completed forms. After receiving and processing the documents, I will reach out to you to confirm the booking (usually within less than an hour or so of receiving the forms). Fees are due at the time of service (before appt). I will send you your telehealth video call invite the day before your appointment. All initial appointments must be made over a video call. Follow-ups can be done via telephone or video call. - No calls and no-shows will not be tolerated, and you will be banned from my practice upon 2 NCNS! Please reschedule your appointment if you need to! - Before any medications are prescribed, if necessary, recent labs must be obtained or brought in from your primary care to ensure your safety. We can send you labs, but you will be expected to pay out of pocket if you don't have insurance. We use Quest Diagnostics as our lab partner. Depending on your treatment course, we will send you labs every three months or sooner. Other policies are applicable and will be included in the new patient forms.
