Hello, I'm Dr. Dave Oladoja, a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with over 11 years of experience providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care across the lifespan-from children and adolescents to adults and seniors. I earned my Doctorate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Rutgers University and began my academic journey at Bergen Community College with an Associate's degree.
My approach is patient-centered and collaborative, ensuring that treatment plans are tailored to each individual's unique needs and goals. I offer comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and brief supportive psychotherapy for a variety of mental health conditions, including anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, OCD, PTSD, and personality disorders. My expertise spans inpatient, outpatient, psychiatric emergencies, crisis management, addiction, forensic psychiatry, long-term care, and dual diagnosis.
With a strong background in nursing leadership, I emphasize thorough patient education and transparent communication to foster a trusting and therapeutic relationship. My goal is to empower my patients with the knowledge and tools needed to achieve long-term mental wellness.

I believe in a collaborative, solution-focused approach to mental health treatment. My practice integrates evidence-based medication management and psychotherapy techniques, including solution-focused brief therapy and narrative therapy, to help patients regain stability and confidence in their lives.

During our first session, I take the time to understand your medical and mental health history, current concerns, and treatment goals. Together, we will develop a personalized care plan that aligns with your needs, whether that includes medication management, therapy, or a combination of both.

The doctor was a no show/ no call. I called the office to see if he was running late and the office was closed. What a sad way to run a practice. Imagine if I needed a physicians attention immediately? Don’t recommend.

this was my first visit with this provider and it was great I went for grief counseling he was a wonderful listener he kept the conversation upbeat while I still had a few tears to be shed but it was all well and yes I would recommend him to anybody seeking grief counseling like myself. the text message and email reminders were a little bit too much if we already put things on our calendar we can pretty much know where we're supposed to be but the reminders got to be a little bit too much not a bad thing but just too much we didn't need it maybe one closer to the actual date of the zoom meeting but that was the only problem that I said my God why are they emailing or texting me again and asking me to confirm I've already confirmed enough times lol but it was a good session and I look forward to getting the treatment plan and things that I need in order to progress that I would highly recommend here him

He was absolutely amazing and listened to me when it came to my past and about past medications I have tried an listened to me and took me seriously when I told him what worked for me in the past and what didn't. You can actually tell he cares and will give the right medications to help.he is also just a pleasant man to trust and that's super important to me because my anxiety makes it hard for me to try new things.
