What should a new client know about working with you?

New clients can expect a warm, welcoming, and judgment-free environment where they feel comfortable discussing their concerns openly. I believe that effective mental health care begins with building a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust, respect, and collaboration. During our first visit, I take time to listen carefully, understand your concerns, review your history, and discuss your goals for treatment. Together, we will develop a personalized plan that may include medication management, education, coping strategies, and ongoing support tailored to your individual needs. My approach is compassionate, patient-centered, and evidence-based. I encourage open communication and believe that patients should be active participants in their treatment decisions. Whether you are seeking help for anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, mood disorders, or other mental health concerns, my goal is to provide a safe space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered on your journey toward better mental health.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My treatment process begins with a comprehensive Initial Psychiatric Assessment, during which I take the time to understand your symptoms, mental health history, medical history, current concerns, and treatment goals. This evaluation allows me to develop an accurate diagnosis and create an individualized treatment plan tailored to your needs. Following the initial assessment, a Psychiatric Evaluation is completed to further assess your condition and determine whether medication management or other treatment interventions may be beneficial. We will review treatment options together and develop a plan that aligns with your goals and preferences. Once treatment is established, patients are typically seen for monthly follow-up appointments to monitor progress, evaluate symptoms, assess medication effectiveness, and make adjustments as needed. Additional visits may be scheduled more frequently during the initial stages of treatment or when clinically appropriate. Therapy and supportive counseling services are recommended as needed and can be incorporated into your overall treatment plan to help strengthen coping skills, improve emotional wellness, and support long-term success.
