About Dr. David B Yaeger

David Yaeger, MD, joined Orlando Health Physician Associates in 2015 and is board certified in pediatric medicine. Dr. Yaeger earned his medical degree from the Loma Linda University School of Medicine and completed his pediatric residency at Orlando Regional Medical Center. Prior to joining Orlando Health, Dr. Yaeger spent years as a pediatrician with Pediatric Associates of Orlando. He is past chairman of pediatrics at the previously operating Lucerne Pavilion hospital in Orlando. Dr. Yaeger is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Orange County Medical Society, and the Central Florida Pediatric Society.

We love the pediatricians at the Mills Ave. Office and will not switch. Going through the transition when the practice became part of Orlando Health was difficult. It still does not feel as personal as it used to because every time we go in we are dealing with a new PA and new front desk staff.
I appreciate how Dr. Yaeger explained what was wrong with my son and how we could get his prescription revised if we needed to. I also really appreciate the staff's assistance on helping me get the message back to Dr. Yaeger that we needed to revise our prescription for Tamiflu, from the tablets to the liquid because the pharmacies that we were reaching out to didn't have any of the tablets in stock. The staff was incredibly helpful on getting that message over to Dr. Yaeger and I appreciate how they all worked together to get that done. Thank you.
Dr. Yaeger is everything you want/need in a pediatrician. He is extremely caring, thorough and communicates effectively. Thanks for providing a superior level of care for our kiddo.
Dr. Yaeger listened and made sure that my daughter was taken care of while also taking care of our emotional stress as parents.
We really enjoyed our visit with Dr. Yaeger. He really seems to be very knowledgeable and spoke us through, talked to us about everything related to Covid, as he thought that my daughter had Covid and she was displaying the symptoms. Ironically at the very end of the appointment, he looked at her test and it had come up negative and I think that we just left there a little confused as to what does that mean? Do we go ahead and treat this like Covid or do we not? We just assumed that we would treat her like she has Covid and so we've done that all week and she had had symptoms all week. But the ambiguous test finding just kind of left us leaving the office off of what we felt was a great visit,with more questions.

Dr. Yaeger was very attentive to all of my questions and he allowed extra time for us to discuss possible medical decisions regarding my children. I'm very thankful for the opportunity to spend extra time with him and just know that he listened to all of my questions and seemed to really care about my children's health.
