He then trained at St Louis University for his family medicine residency. After residency, he served on active duty for 4 years as a family physician at Wright Patterson Medical Center, Wright Paterson AFB, OH and for 3 years as a flight surgeon at Scott Medical Center, Scott AFB, IL. For the last 3.5 years he has been a staff family physician at HSHS Medical Group Family Medicine O’Fallon, O’Fallon, IL. He also has been serving as a flight surgeon in the Air Force Reserves at Scott AFB for the last year.
