About Dr. David Carr

Dr. David has been a licensed chiropractor since 2014. He is committed to improving the local communities of Boyertown, Gilbertsville, New Berlinville, Amityville, Stowe, and surrounding areas. Throughout his athletic career, Dr. David sustained multiple injuries. His first was a neck injury, which introduced him to Chiropractic care as part of his health routine. Small muscle strains and ligament tears were common during wrestling season. However, a career-ending injury occurred the summer before his junior year in high school-a severe shoulder dislocation that ended his wrestling career and led to years of on-and-off physical therapy and eventually surgery. After surgery, the shoulder was severely weakened, with expectations of limited athletics and substantial loss in range of motion (ROM). With years of regular maintenance, including Chiropractic care, Dr. David was able to return to light athletic activities. Despite his efforts, the ROM remained severely limited until he met Rob Luckey, DC, in Rochester, NY. With Dr. Luckey and his partner's assistance, the shoulder's ROM dramatically increased in just a couple of visits. This treatment expanded Dr. David's understanding of what is possible through Chiropractic care. The injuries he sustained and the care he received from overseeing Chiropractors are a main reason he chose to become a Chiropractor. Now, he is able to give back what was given to him. Dr. David earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business Administration from the State University of New York at Oswego. He completed his Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree at Northeast College of Health Sciences and New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, NY, graduating in March 2014. During school, his focus was not only on studies but also on helping others.
