About Dr. David Del Sesto

I approach patient care in an evidence-based manner that encompasses treating patients as a whole person. I view primary care medicine as a team-based dynamic that incorporates my patients' healthcare needs and goals. I take pride in advocating for my patients and building trusting relationships through open communication. My goal is to help guide my patients to become the healthiest version of themselves. I have particular interests in men's health, HIV medicine and prevention, and travel medicine. Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, and traveling and experiencing new cultures as much as possible. Strength training and yoga are a key part of my weekly routine. Cooking, food experimentation, photography, and art and design also are important parts of my life. I received my education from Nova Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, FL, and completed my residency at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Boston, MA. I am board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) and have an additional subspecialty in Infectious Diseases. My areas of expertise include preventive medicine, men's health, musculoskeletal medicine, sports medicine, travel medicine, and infectious diseases.
