I am a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with a Master’s in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Frontier Nursing University and 10 years of experience in healthcare. I also hold bachelor’s degrees from the University of Colorado and the University of Central Florida. I’m passionate about working with clients of all ages and help manage a wide range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, insomnia, trauma, and more. My background includes experience as an RN in mental health/psychiatric care, intensive care, neurology/trauma, and as a firefighter/medic in prehospital emergency medicine. This diverse experience has deepened my understanding of the complexities involved in mental health treatment. I recognize how difficult it can be to find a provider who truly listens and practices ethical, compassionate prescribing. Involving my clients in the decision-making process as much as possible is central to my approach. I want you to feel heard and supported throughout your care. I prioritize your goals while utilizing safe, effective, and evidence-based prescribing. It’s important to me that you feel confident and comfortable with your treatment plan. I am a patient listener and an educator, committed to ensuring you understand what to expect from your treatment and how it may impact you. As a strong advocate for medication education, my ultimate goal is to guide you toward better understanding and provide the tools you need on your personal journey to health and happiness.
