About Dr. David Herschthal
David Herschthal, M.D. established The Herschthal Practice in South Florida in 1980. He also has the privilege and honor of being a Professor of Dermatology at the University of Miami School of Medicine. He is board certified in dermatology, a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He received his BS degree from the City University of New York Brooklyn College and his MD degree from New York Medical College. He interned at the University of Southern California Los Angeles County Hospitals and completed his Dermatology residency at University of Miami Mount Sinai Hospitals, Miami Beach, Florida.
The Herschthal Practice has additional special interest and expertise in skin cancer, cosmetic and laser surgery. Dr. Herschthal regularly teaches and lectures resident physicians at the University of Miami School of Medicine, Department of Dermatology where the future of dermatology is being taught today. Dr. Herschthal's private practice is fully digitally integrated and making it possible to practice tomorrow's most efficient medicine today. He has a full array of the latest state of the art lasers and surgical equipment. Dr. Herschthal has been published in medical journals and has been interviewed by the local and national media, including Fox News, Inside Edition, ABC, NBC, Oprah Magazine, Allure, Maxim, Self and Good Hosusekeeping to name a few.
