Dr. David Husted has helped thousands of patients with depression, anxiety, and many other conditions "live their best life." Dr. Husted studied at the University of Florida, Gainesville, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine. He completed his Residency in Psychiatry and Fellowship in Forensic Psychiatry at the same institution. Throughout his studies, he distinguished himself with many academic awards and was published in 19 research papers and studies.
Personally trained by Dr. Husted, Kindal Sweet, Megan Benda, Ana Aun, and Carl Brescia also distinguished themselves in their studies, ranking number one in their medical class. As Dr. Husted's protégés, they practice psychiatry with the same overall methods and patient connection that allowed Dr. Husted to impact many lives. Together, they share the mission to help patients get better and start to thrive.
Dr. Husted feels extremely fortunate to have mentored gifted professionals with a similar outlook and ability to help patients in Kindal Sweet, Megan Benda, Ana Aun, and Carl Brescia. The empathy and dedication to helping patients improve is very apparent in their practice and patient loyalty. Overcoming fears, anxieties, mental struggles, and depression is so important for us all, and our ability to cope and achieve wellness impacts us and the people we love. As Kindal says, "We all strive to be happy and live a full life, but sometimes we need a little outside help in order to become the best version of ourself."

Loved the doctor I saw! She was great! Highly recommend and will be going back for sure. Most doctors I’ve come across are extremely old and have horrible bedside manner. This was not the case here.
