Getting to know David Johnson
I am a board-certified mental health nurse practitioner with diverse knowledge and expertise in psychiatry. I treat patients with emotional, behavioral, and mental health disorders using the most innovative, advanced technology and psychotherapies. My overall goal includes a compassionate and collaborative approach to assist you in finding relief and living a more fulfilling life. Additionally, I provide medication management when needed.
I earned my undergraduate degree in nursing from NYU and my master's in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from CUNY Hunter College Brookdale Campus. I treat patients 18 and older who suffer from PTSD, major depression, eating disorders, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and anxiety disorders. I use a wide array of modalities-psychotherapy and medication management.
My goal is to provide guidance so that you can feel comfortable and confident making informed decisions about your treatment. I hope to connect with you soon to see how I may be of help! I work primarily via telehealth (Doxy.me or Doximity).
What should a new client know about working with you?
I have extensive experience in mental health. My goal is to provide guidance so that you can feel comfortable and confident to make informed decisions about your treatment. We will set realistic expectations and goals to help you improve your mental health.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
We will do telehealth visits only. We will do a thorough evaluation, gain rapport, and set a specific treatment plan. I do provide neuropsychological testing for ADHD, psychotherapy therapy, and medication management.

Ongoing session: $150 for 20 minutes
More information on payments and coverage
For out of network coverage, we charge $200 for initial evaluations and ongoing sessions are $150. We will provide Superbills or EOBs upon request so you can get reimbursed by your specific insurance.
