About Dr. David Kimble

One of the country's top vulvovaginal surgeons and a distinguished pioneer within urogynecology, Dr. David M. Kimble is known for his artistic eye and exceptional surgical skills. Over the course of his career, he has successfully operated on over ten thousand women, dramatically improving their lives. He has received hundreds of awards and accolades for his kind and caring bedside manner, as well as his outstanding surgical expertise. Dr. Kimble is double board certified in General Gynecology and the subspecialty Female Pelvic Medicine and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He also holds a position on the Health Advisory Board at Forbes Magazine. Dr. Kimble earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Florida and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Albany Medical College. He has reached the milestone of leading 20,000 surgery programs at over 20 elite hospitals across the United States. He holds the esteemed position of Chief of Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery and Urogynecology at a major medical center in New York, where he has also taught surgery to countless doctors-in-training, as well as anatomy labs nationwide. As Chair of the Robotic Surgery Program in New York, Dr. Kimble has brought national notoriety to the program and established industry-wide standards for other institutions to follow. He has been honored as a Top Surgeon for 14 consecutive years and received the Golden Apple Award, recognizing him as a model physician and surgeon. Dr. Kimble studied with the true godfathers of urogynecology, further honing his expertise and leadership in the field.
